Oregon Health Underwriters Association and its affiliated chapters have adopted the following code of conduct for all sponsored continuing education courses. We are dedicated to bringing informative industry related courses to our membership. In order to maintain quality and fairness to all those who participate we would appreciate your cooperation with the following code of conduct. Failure to follow the code of conduct could result in continuing education credits to be denied. If you are attending for course content and do not need CE credits we appreciate that you continue to follow the code of conduct so others in attendance may still obtain their CE.

1. o All attendees must arrive and sign in prior to the scheduled continuing education event. Sign in sheets will be pulled 5 minutes after the session begins.

RHU (Registered Health Underwriter)

The RHU designation is the undisputed professional credential for persons involved in the sale and service of disability income and health insurance. Individuals earning the RHU designation demonstrate a high level of knowledge about the principles and practices governing the disability income and health insurance business.

REBC (Registered Employee Benefits Consultant)

The REBC program focuses on providing the student with the knowledge necessary to become a professional in the sale and service of employee benefits plans. Individuals earning the REBC designation develop an understanding of the various types of group benefits and retirement plans, and the practical knowledge needed for choosing and/or designing the best benefits package that will meet the client’s needs.
